Complete Chamber Music Vol. 9

The new discovers of Richard Strauss Institut in Munich! An unexpected ninth volume in the complete edition of Strauss' Chamber Music that includes two Piano Trios (the second is a real masterpiece) and pieces for clarinet, for cello and for horn with piano. Wolfgang Sawallisch is the usual inspired animator of
an excellent group of musicians, many of them already known from the previous volumes of the complete edition.
This is the first ever recording of all pieces. The two piano trios have been recently offered by another little record company at full price but this version (previously recorded) is superior by all means.
