Description
These are excellent performances of the complete music for winds composed throughout all his life by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The three CDs, available only separately, offer rarely performed as well as famous masterpieces, such as the Serenata "Gran Partita" K.361.
The ensemble Ottetto Italiano is one of the leading European ensemble for winds and their performances are all of the highest quality. Ottetto Italiano gained highest acclaim for their recordings of Rossini's Symphonies (ARTS 47162-2) and their members appeared also in the recordings of Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat (ARTS 47357-2) and Villa Lobos' Complete Music for Winds (ARTS 47200-2).
