This is the first complete recording of Paisiello's eight piano concertos, performed by Pietro Spada with the Rome based Orchestra da Camera di Santa Cecilia. This simple but highly enjoyable music deserves a critical acclaim since it offers a rare example of the early italian piano music. Paisiello confirms his
natural inclination not only for opera but also for instrumental music. Pietro Spada's performances show up the composer's deeply italian soul. A great value at ARTS' usual special price.
