Description
Two Single CDs offer the first complete recording of the music for violin and
piano and for cello and piano of the two most renewed italian composers for
instrumental music of the late XIXth- beginning XXth Century. These CDs offer
many first ever recordings and are offered altogether with the first release of
these works by the editor Boccaccini & Spada. As to the performers, they are all
well known italian soloists. The Martucci's works are the last recording of the
pianist Antonio Bacchelli , who disappeared shortly after completing the
masters. For Respighi, the brothers Bonucci are accompanied by Pietro Spada,
following his long term contract with Arts.
