Bach's four harpsichord concertos (...) are well played by Francesco Cera with I Barocchisti (Fasolis).Even in normal stereo, let alone the two-channel and Surround SACDs, this recording allows the harpsichord to be heard at all times.

Eight of Tomaso Albinoni's Concerti a Cinque, Op. 10 are virtuosically performed by Claudio Astronio and his Harmonices Mundi, an excellent non-period-instrument group. This superb-sounding disc will probably appeal to Albinoni fans, or fans of turn-of-the-18th century Italian music (…).
