ARTS goes DVD-Audio

ARTS was the first company to extensively release DVDs primarily containing high resolution audio recordings. These DVDs, still available in the ARTS catalogue, offered an exceptional sound clarity and dynamics utilizing the DVD-Video system at its best.

Since the DVD-Audio standard is now widely available, ARTS decided to release its first DVD-Audios. These DVDs can be played on any DVD player. The best quality will be obtained by playing them on a DVD-Audio player both in 5.1 Surround Sound (5.1 channel, 24-bit 96 kHz) or in Stereo. When playing in a DVD-Video player there is the option to reproduce the recording either in 5.1 Dolby Digital (AC3) or in linear PCM stereo.
