Arturo Sacchetti wurde am 9. Jannuar 1941 in Santhia, Italien geboren. Er studierte am „Conservatorio di Milano“ und erwarb insgesamt acht Diplome. Als Dirigent, Chorleiter, Organist, Cembalospieler und Pianist gab er weit über 2300 Konzerte.

Er perfektionierte seine Kenntnisse bei Fernando Germani in der Musik Akademie in Chigiana. Zu seinem Konzert-Repertoire gehören u.a. die Intergrale von J.S. Bach, Buxtehude, Mozart und Telemann. Mittlerweile hat Arturo Sacchetti über 150 CD und LPs veröffentlicht. Hierzu zählt auch eine Orgelserie bei ARTS MUSIC, die sich der Geschichte der Orgelmusik in Europa und Amerika widmet (Organ History in Europe and America – Organ Transcriptions).

Arturo Sacchetti hat sich u.a. als Direktor des Kammerchors der RAI (Italienischer Rundfunk), als Lehrer des Konservatoriums St. Cecilia in Rom, als künstlerischer Leiter des „Radio Vaticana“, als Direktor der musikalischen Hochschule „G.B. Viotto“ in Vercelli, als Direktor der „Società cameristica“ in Lugano und als künstlerischer Leiter der internationalen Musikakademie "G. Carisio" des "Civico Istituto di Musica" in Asti einen Namen gemacht. Des weitere war er für die „Enteperosiano“ in Tortona, die „Associazone artistica G. L. Centemeri“ in Monza, im "Centro studi C. Della Giacoma" in Todi, als Orgeldozent an der “Regia Accademia Filarmonica" in Bologna, als Dozent der "Accademia L. Perosi" in Torona, als ehrenamtlicher Inspektor des „Ministerio die Beni Artistice e Storici“ (Ministeriums artistischer und historischer Güter) sowie für die "Regia Accademia Filarmonica" in Bologna tätig.

Arturo Sacchetti (Santhià, 9 gennaio 1941) è un organista italiano.

Studiò al Conservatorio di Milano. Conseguiti otto diplomi, ha dato oltre 2.300 concerti in veste di direttore d'orchestra, maestro di coro, organista, clavicembalista, e pianista. Si è perfezionato con Fernando Germani, presso l' accademia musicale chigiana. Ha eseguito in concerti pubblici le opere integrali di J. S. Bach, Buxtehude, Mozart, Telemann ed altri. Ha effettuato circa 150 incisioni, tra LP e CD.

I suoi incarichi hanno incluso: la direzione del Coro da camera della RAI, l'insegnamento presso il Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia di Roma, la direzione artistica della Radio Vaticana, la direzione del Liceo Musicale G.B. Viotti di Vercelli, la direzione della Società cameristica di Lugano, Direttore artistico dell'Accademia Internazionale di Musica "G. Carisio" del "Civico Istituto di Musica" di Asti, dell'"Ente perosiano" di Tortona, della "Associazione artistica G. L. Centemeri" di Monza, del "Centro studi C. Della Giacoma" di Todi, docente d'organo della "Regia Accademia Filarmonica" di Bologna, docente dell' "Accademia L. Perosi" di Tortona, Ispettore onorario del Ministero dei Beni Artistici e Storici., ed Accademico per chiara fama dalla "Regia Accademia Filarmonica" di Bologna.
