Mikkhail Davidov

Baritone

Born in Moscow, Mikhail Davydov graduated from the Musical School of the Moscow Conservatory in 1995. Five years later, he graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and became a soloist with Helikon Opera. He was awarded prizes for “Best Performance of Russian Music” and “Young Talent” at the International Francisco Vinas Lyric Competition in Barcelona and second prize at the 1st Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Camera Competition (both in 2000). In 2001, he obtained a diploma from the International Vocal Competition “Hans Gabor Belvedere” in Vienna and a Diploma from the 2nd Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Camera Competition (2001). Davydov has sung on tour in Great Britain, France, Spain, and China in major operas such as Carmen, Don Giovanni, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Eugene Onegin, Aleko.
