Diego Fasolis studied at the Conservatory of Zurich receiving his diplomas for organ, piano, voice and composition with honors. He continued his studies with such renowned soloists as Gaston Litaize and Michael Radulescu, and he has earned prizes at the competitions of Stresa, Zurich and Geneva. In addition he also composes.
Since 1993 he has been the conductor of the "Coro della Radio Svizzera" Lugano and since 1988 of "I Barocchisti". He regularly conducts the "Orchestra della Svizzera italiana", and his guest appearances include the RIAS Chamber Choir of Berlin, Choir and Orchestra of the arena of Verona, the Coro e Orchestra Accademia of Milan's Scala, Choir and Orchestra of the Opera in Rome, the Chamber orchestra of Basel and Zürich, the "Sonatori de la gioiosa Marca".

He has recorded more than 50 discs many of which have been awarded prizes and international acclaim.

Diego Fasolis studierte an der Musikhochschule Zürich und erhielt seine Diplome in Orgel, Klavier, Gesang und Dirigieren mit Auszeichnung. Er besuchte Fortbildungskurse bei namhaften Solisten, u.a. Gaston Litaize und Michael Radulescu, und wurde an den Wettbewerben von Stresa, Zürich und Genf ausgezeichnet. Seit 1993 ist er Dirigent des "Coro della Radio Svizzera", seit 1998 des auf Originalinstrumenten spielenden Orchesters “I Barocchisti". Er dirigiert regelmässig das “Orchestra della Svizzera italiana" und ist u.a. Gast beim RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, beim Chor und Orchester der Arena von Verona, beim Coro e Orchestra Accademia der Mailänder Scala, beim Chor und Orchester der Oper Rom, beim Basler Kammerorchester, bei den Sonatori de la gioiosa Marca.. Er hat über 50 CDs eingespielt, denen zahllose Preise und internationale Auszeichnungen zuerkannt wurden.

Après des études d'orgue, de piano, de chant et de direction couronnées de quatre diplômes avec mentions, Diego Fasolis suit à Paris les cours d'orgue et d'improvisation de Gaston Litaize ainsi que les cours d'exécution de musique ancienne de Michael Radulescu a Cremona. Il remporte divers prix internationaux tels le Premier Prix Stresa, le Premier Prix de la "Fondation Migros-Göhner" avec bourse d'étude et le Prix Hegar de Zurich. Diego Fasolis collabore avec la RTSI dont il est à la fois musicien et chef d'orchestre et assure la direction permanente des Ensembles vocales et instrumentales de la Radio Télévision Suisse ainsi que celle d'I Barocchisti. Il dirige régulièrement l'"Orchestra della Svizzera italiana", et collabore en tant que chef invité avec des ensembles d'envergure internationale comme le RIAS-Kammerchor, Concerto Palatino, l'Orchestre et Chœur de l'Arena di Verona, La Scala de Milan, l'Opera de Rome… Diego Fasolis associe à la légèreté de la virtuosité une rigueur de style très appréciée. Cet enthousiasme se traduit par de nombreux concerts en Europe et des enregistrements radiophoniques, télévisés et discographiques (environ 50 CD). Pur sa grande connaissance des domaines vocaux et intrumentaux, Diego Fasolis est fréquemment l'hôte d'organisations musicales que ce soit comme chef, professeur ou membre de jurys internationaux.

Diego Fasolis ha studiato al Conservatorio e alla Musikhochschule di Zurigo organo, pianoforte, canto e direzione ottenendo quattro diplomi con varie distinzioni. Ha seguito, tra numerosi corsi con docenti di fama internazionale, lezioni di organo e improvvisazione a Parigi con Gaston Litaize e corsi di prassi esecutiva antica con Michael Radulescu a Cremona. E` titolare di diversi premi e lauree internazionali.

Dal 1986 collabora in seno alla RTSI quale musicista e direttore e dal 1993 è Maestro stabile dei complessi vocali e strumentali della Radio Televisione Svizzera e dal 1998 de "I Barocchisti", orchestra barocca con strumenti antichi. Dirige regolarmente l'Orchestra della Svizzera italiana e le migliori orchestre svizzere. Ha rapporti di collaborazione come maestro ospite con complessi di primo piano internazionale tra i quali: RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca, Concerto Palatino, Orchestra e Coro dell'Arena di Verona, Orchestra e Coro della Filarmonica della Scala di Milano, Orchestra e Coro del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma e di Bologna.

Diego Fasolis, ritenuto uno dei più interessanti interpreti della sua generazione, unisce alla versatilità e al virtuosismo un rigore stilistico apprezzato dal pubblico e dalla critica internazionali che lo seguono in importanti consessi concertistici europei e tramite registrazioni radiofoniche, televisive e discografiche (più di 50 CD) insignite dei più ambiti riconoscimenti della stampa specializzata.
